In no particular order I’d say that I’m a Writer, a qualified English Language Teacher and a Travel-addict.
I grew up on the move, living in Oregon, Florida, Bolivia, California, and Alaska by the time I was 8 years old. My family finally settled in my father’s hometown in Southern Oregon.
A childhood in beautiful Southern Oregon is not a bad deal. Nonetheless, I always dreamed of living abroad. A brief trip to Spain and France and a year of studying in Seville solidified that desire. I begrudgingly went home to finish my degree in History and Spanish, but immediately set off again as soon as I had that diploma in hand. I’ve been abroad ever since!
I am Trinity CertTESOL certified, and have extensive experience working in language schools and teaching one-to-one in Seville, Spain; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Barcelona, Spain.
I recently finished my M.A. in Applied Linguistics at the University of Barcelona, and am now based in Ireland.
